Description
The MSA 2060 is the 6th generation product of the HPE MSA Storage Array family. This model is equipped with many technologies by HPE to increase hard disk fault tolerance, increase performance, improve recovery time after failure, and is capable of supporting 18TB SAS 7.2K HDD hard drives.
Equipped with 2 active/active controllers with common communication ports such as FC, SAS, iSCSI; cache capacity (read/write) up to 24G along with 3250,000 IOPS performance (45% increase compared to Gen5) helps MSA 2060 operate smoothly, reducing system latency
In terms of storage capacity, the MSA2060 also offers respectable parameters with a size of only 2U: capable of holding 24 2.5-inch or 12 3.5-inch drives; expandability up to 9 additional enclosures brings total storage capacity up to 921.6TB for 2.5-inch drives or 2.16PB for 3.5-inch drives
MSA 2060 is also equipped with valuable software such as Thin Provisioning, Tiering, Snapshot, Volume Copy
This product also supports Virtual Storage Disk Group with features: can create Virtual Storage Disk Group on multiple enclosures Virtual Storage supports RAIDs: 1, 5, 6, 10, MSA-DP+
HPE also announced the OS supported on MSA 1060 such as: MS Window Server 2016, MS Window Server 2019, VMWare, Red Hat Linux, SuSE SLES Linux and Citrix XenServer
