EX4300 Multigigabit Ethernet Switch

EX4300 Multigigabit Ethernet Switch

The EX4300 Multigigabit Ethernet Switch is a high-performance access switch for advanced branch or campus deployments. The modern campus environment must be able to accommodate devices that require multigigabit speeds of 100M/1/2.5/5/10GbE and greater power connectivity (PoE++) up to 95W per port for Wi-Fi 6 and 802.11ac access points, high density IP telephony, surveillance cameras, sensors, etc.

The EX4300 Multigigabit switch is cloud-ready and ZTP-enabled, so you can onboard, configure, and manage it with Juniper Mist™ Wired Assurance for improved connected-device experiences. In addition, the Juniper Mist Cloud streamlines deploying and managing your campus fabric, while Mist AI simplifies operations and improves visibility into the performance of connected devices. All access and uplink ports are MACsec AES-256-compliant for increased network security. EX4300 Multigigabit switches support Juniper’s Virtual Chassis technology for interconnecting up to 10 switches that can be managed as a single logical device.

Features + Benefits

Claim, configure, and troubleshoot switches with a few clicks. Wired Assurance delivers better experiences for connected devices through AI-powered automation and service-level expectations (SLEs) with Mist’s AI engine and microservices cloud.

The EX Switches provide rich streaming telemetry data to enable the insights for switch health metrics and anomaly detection. Streamline IT operations, reduce mean time to repair, and deliver optimized experiences across wired and wireless.

With Virtual Chassis technology, up to ten interconnected EX4300 switches operate as a single logical device, reducing operational expenses and simplifying management.

The EX4300 Multigigabit switch supports the 802.3bt standard for PoE, supplying up to 95 watts per port for increased requirements of devices such as Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) terminals, IP phones, and access points.

Support for IEEE 802.1ae (MACsec AES256) for link-layer data confidentiality, data integrity, and data origin authentication enables 88 Gbps of near line-rate, hardware-based traffic encryption on all 1GbE and 10GbE switches.

Campus Fabric

Switches are connected as an IP fabric with EVPN-VXLAN overlay. The IP fabric can extend to connect multiple enterprise buildings, while VXLAN allows stretching Layer 2 (L2) across the network.
